Year 6 Bubble 1 write about three young heroes waving red flags

The children in Year 6 Bubble 1 were provided with a template to write a newspaper report based on the most famous scene from The Railway Children where the three children wave red flags to stop a train from crashing.

How dogs stopped eating insects

This story is by Delia from Upper Key Stage 2

There was a doggy. He walked and walked. He just had fun until he saw a little ant. There were hundreds of them. And he ate it. He ate them all…

The doggy threw up…he fainted and remembered his mum said don’t eat insects. So he stopped and told all the dogs in the world to never…

And that’s how it stopped. It stopped in the whole world.  Some dogs did want to eat insects but there was dog food. They ate it and then it was the best!

So that’s how they forgot about insects.

The End!

Wait! I’m not done! You please get strays. If you do you will save the world! And they don’t eat any more insects.

Now The End
